Petals and Prosecco: Floral Design Celebration

Design seasonal floral arrangements using a curated selection of premium, locally sourced blooms hand-picked for their beauty, color, and character. Sip bubbly as Natalie guides you through the art of floral composition in a welcoming, light-filled setting. This is our most-loved offering.

🔸 Enjoy a smooth event flow with 1 hour before the workshop for set-up and guest arrival, 1.5 hours of guided floral design, and another 1.5 hours after for shared meals, conversation, and connection. Additional rental time available at $185 per hour.

  • Sample Floral Workshop Schedule

    11:00 AM – Set-Up & Food Delivery
    Vendors and hosts arrive to set up the space, arrange food and drinks, and add any final decorative touches.

    12:00 PM – Guest Arrival & Welcome
    Guests are welcomed into our sunlit Williamsburg space, greeted with music, drinks, and time to settle in and connect.

    12:30 PM – Floral Workshop Begins
    Natalie leads a hands-on, 90-minute floral arrangement-making session using seasonal blooms and thoughtful instruction. Guests sip bubbly while creating beautiful arrangements to take home.

    2:00 PM – Celebration & Social Time
    Enjoy a shared meal, sweet treats, and relaxed conversation in our cozy space and backyard. The perfect moment to celebrate, take photos, and connect.

    3:30 PM – Event Wrap-Up
    Need a little more time? You’re welcome to extend your celebration — additional hours are available at $185 per hour.

Deep Rest Sound Bath with Tarot Messages

Celebrate your birthday in a way that nourishes the soul and honors your inner journey. This immersive experience begins with a gentle intention-setting journaling practice, followed by grounding breathwork to bring everyone into presence. We’ll then move into a 45-minute sound bath session, where the soothing tones of crystal bowls and chimes invite deep relaxation and energetic renewal. Afterward, guests will receive a gentle temple and shoulder massage using locally sourced New York essential oils to further melt away tension. As a special offering, a short individual tarot reading will be available for those who feel called to receive intuitive guidance — a meaningful way to mark a new chapter with clarity and care.

Evening Version (Sample): Deep Rest Sound Bath Experience

  • 5:00 PM – Arrival & Light Set-Up

    Hosts and vendors arrive to prepare light refreshments, décor, and set the tone with cozy mats, blankets, candles, and a calming altar.

  • 6:00 PM – Guest Arrival & Welcome

    Guests are greeted in a serene, candle-lit space with soft music, tea, and time to settle in before the evening begins.

  • 6:30 PM – Intention Setting & Journaling

    We begin with grounding breathwork and guided journaling to help guests reflect and gently arrive into the present moment.

  • 7:00 PM – Sound Bath Session (45 minutes)

    Guests recline into deep rest as Natalie guides a soothing sound bath with crystal singing bowls, chimes, and grounding instruments. Gentle temple and shoulder massage offered afterwards.

  • 8:00 PM – Optional Tarot Readings & Social Time

    As the sound bath ends, guests slowly reawaken with tea, snacks, and optional one-card Tarot readings to receive intuitive messages.

  • 9:00 PM – Wrap-Up & Goodbyes

    Guests leave feeling relaxed, restored, and deeply connected.

Meet your instructor

Natalie Chan

Natalie Chan, originally from Taiwan, is the visionary founder behind Bat Haus. Her creative journey began when she moved to the U.S. to pursue a graduate degree in Philosophy at the University of Texas at Austin, later studying Photography at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. In 2012, she co-founded Bat Haus in Bushwick, Brooklyn, transforming it into a beloved community space for coworking, workshops, and events. During the pandemic in 2020, Natalie relocated Bat Haus to its current Williamsburg location, where it continues to thrive. Beyond managing the space, Natalie teaches floral arrangement workshops, pottery classes, and leads immersive sound bath sessions, sharing her passion for creativity and mindfulness with the community. When she’s not at Bat Haus, she practices Ashtanga yoga, dances Argentine tango, and enjoys quiet moments at home in Ridgewood with her cat, Momo.

Hand-building Pottery Workshop

Looking for a unique and meaningful way to celebrate a birthday or special occasion? Our hand-building pottery workshop is the perfect creative gathering for friends, family, or teams.

In this 2-hour guided workshop, guests will learn basic hand-building techniques and create their own functional ceramic piece — choose from a mug, dinner plate, pet bowl, or even a coffee pour-over set. No experience needed — just bring your imagination and good company.

Event Flow:
1 hour – Set-up, food & drink prep
2 hours – Pottery workshop with hands-on instruction
1.5 hours – Shared meal, mingling & celebration time

All materials, tools, and firing are included. Finished pieces will be glazed and ready for pickup in 3–4 weeks.
