How big is Bat Haus and how many guests fit?

Bat Haus has two hosting areas on different floors. The main floor holds up to 50 guests for celebrations, and a separate downstairs studio holds up to 15 for intimate workshops. The two can be reserved together for exclusive use of the entire venue.

Take a full tour of our Brooklyn event space, made for weddings, bridal showers, baby showers, and birthday parties. We start upstairs in the main room — a bright, flexible space that sets the tone for any celebration — and step out into the private backyard, perfect for mingling, ceremonies, or soaking up a little fresh air. Then we head downstairs to the private studio, an intimate setup ideal for floral workshops and hands-on events, complete with a kitchenette area to keep your day running smoothly. How does the layout flow, and can I configure the tables?

All tables are on wheels, so the room adapts to your event. Guests arrive through the lobby into the bright main room; a wooden bar unit anchors a welcome or check-in station, with food and dessert tables along the wall. Five long banquet tables seat 40–50 with a center aisle, and the glass-block window wall is a natural focal point for a ceremony or backdrop. Step out to the private backyard for cocktail hour and photos. Layouts include long banquet tables, ceremony rows, round tables, or open space for mingling.

The feature hosts always comment on

After 14 years in this room, the glass-block window wall is the detail guests remember — it floods the space with soft, even daylight that makes photos look beautiful without any extra lighting. When we plan a layout, we keep that window as the visual anchor: ceremonies face it, backdrops sit against it, and golden-hour light does the rest. It's the kind of thing you can only learn by hosting here for over a decade.
